Abstract: The longevity of a successful vascular access (VA) is enhanced when the care of the patient's VA is the responsibility of everyone involved, including the patient and their family. A family nursing perspective enhances VA care outcomes and increases quality of life and well-being for patients requiring hemodialysis.
