Description: "District Nursing Ass'n : seven nurses make 30,380 calls a year : dedicated nurses" details the work of the district nurses in Woy Woy at 7th Annual Meeting of the Woy Woy Area District Nursing Association. The nurses reduced the need for hospital admissions, according to hospital secretary, Kevin Boyce [i.e. Neville Boyce]. The Woy Woy nurses are Pat Fagan and Edna Warnecke. Mrs. Gloria Ferguson was elected President of the Association. Many service clubs and RSL club officials were present, as was Councillor Ida Hoskin. Other officers elected: Mrs Pat Gregory and Mrs Dot Anderson (vice presidents) ; Miss Geraldine Hall (secretary) ; Mrs D Gerard (treasurer) ; Mrs Glad Miles (social organiser) ; Mrs Lorna McNeil (publicity officer) ; Matron Inskip (patron) ; Mr Stanton of the Commercial Bank (auditor)
