Description: “Another nurse for service” details the appointment of another district nurse for the northern section of Wyong Shire. The announcement was made at the Wyong and District Hospital Committee meeting. The cost of keeping the nurse’s car on the road was £500 per annum. Mr. Hill said Gosford District Hospital offered a service to provide free dentures to pensioners. The only requirement was for pensioners to visit a doctor to confirm dentures are required. Donations from Gorokan Progress Association, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Smith, John A. Cornell and Doris E. Izzard were acknowledged by the Committee.
