Description: "Old Bastards Give Away $12,000" details the end of year social held by the Australasian Order of Old Bastards, Tuggerah Lakes Branch, at Tuggerah Lakes Memorial Club. The event was attended by 600 members and their guests who enjoyed entertainment provided by Roy Coopers Custers Last Stand, Geraldine Fitzgerald and Glenn Bros. Attendees included: Bill Johnston, Barry Bradshaw, Leo and Joan Bradshaw, Peter James, Bert Buddeke, Doug Scott, Gordon Shears, David Briggs, Johnie McColl, Neil Roffe and Arthur Griffiths. A lovely supper of beautiful prawns, chicken and ham was served with lucky door prizes in abundance. A total of $12,000 worth of cheques was presented to the following organisations: 2GO, Wamberal Surf Club, Shelley Beach Surf Club, Gosford District Hospital and Camperdown Children's Hospital.
