Description: "Praise Heaped on Volunteers" details praise that was given to hospital volunteers in several reports during the 36th annual meeting of the hospital. Chairman of the Central Coast Area Health Board, Les Hannell mentioned the Pink Ladies, the kiosk workers, the day care centre helpers, the volunteer drivers, child minding volunteers, and members of the hospital auxiliaries in his report. Gosford Hospital's medical superintendent, Dr Rod Kennedy, Secretary of the Honorary Medical Board of Gosford Hospital, Dr. I.M. Jeffery, Director of Nursing, Matron Marie Lowndes, and deputy chief executive officer, Mr. David Briggs all gave praise to volunteers in their reports.
