With him are Member for Peats, Mr Keith O'Connell, Cr Ann Findlay who is retiring after 12 years on the Gosford District Hospital Board and the chairman, Central Coast Area Health Service, Mr Les Hannell.

The opening ceremony had 1200 people in attendance, joining Kevin Stewart was the chairman of the Central Coast Area Health Service, Les Hannell, and representative of Wyong on the Gosford District Hospital and Area Health Service Board, Cr Anne Findlay. Cr Anne Findlay delivered a presentation after the opening ceremony and Mr Max Brown was announced to be replacing Cr Anne Findlay after her retirement.
