Description: "Plan to Care for the Age and Infirm" details a request for the Central Coast Area Health Service to form itself into a registered charity to explore methods of caring for the aged on the Central Coast. In addition, suggestions were to be made to the Gosford District Hospital Board for an on-going project to construct hostels and nursing homes. These decisions evolved from a meeting of the Woy Woy Peninsula Community Group. Vice-Chairman of the Area Health Board, Mr Laurie Fenton, was in support of these suggestions.
