Abstract: Article regarding Gosford District Hospital in the Gosford Star Newspaper, 10th January 1979. "Big Load on Health Services". Image: A life was lost on Central Coast roads evert six days during 1977-78, according to police figures released in the latest report from Gosford District Hospital. The area's heavy motor vehicle accident rate also saw more than 700 people admitted to hospital for treatment during the year. The hospital and police agree alcohol is a factor in about 50 per cent of the road accidents.
