The Nursing Home is currently holding 53 in-patients and the Hospital will continue to care for them. This is an attempt to relieve bed pressure on the surrounding hospital, explained by Mrs Muriel Westweller (Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors at Gosford District Hospital) with Gosford District at 200 beds, Woy Woy Hospital at 34 beds and Entrance-Long Jetty Hosptial at 30 beds and a staff total of 600.
