Board of Directors Chairman, R G. Mathews and Cr. R M. Vaughan both spoke positively at the event as well as Minister for Health, Mr Jago, complimenting the builder and architect on the new wing. "Chairman's Report on Hospital Development" details Mr. R. G. Mathews, addressing the crowd at the opening of the new hospital wing. His address has been written out in full. Highlights include the explanation of the bed situation, future development and the regional aspect of the hospital service.
