The meeting covered the expansion of Gosford District Hospital to twice its former size with renovations finishing in 1967. Also covered was financial statements which showed a monetary surplus and a rise in Staff Appointments. Dr I Walters was appointed as Medical Superintendent. Two more nurses were appointed to the District Nursing Service and 30,380 house visits were made. Hospital Auxiliaries raised $3446 for the hospital.
