dc.description"Growing Needs of Hospital" details the issues addressed at the annual meeting of Gosford District Hospital Board by R.G. Matthews (Chairman). Addressed are issues that will happen after the occupation of the new building, These include: Recruting of Medical Superintendent; Approval for overseas approval of nurses trained at Gosford; Needed secondary Nurses Home; Needed pathology clinic, blood bank, chest clinic, sterile department, residential medical quarters, physiotherapy unit, dental clinic, expeanded administrative quarter, more car parking, kiosk, new X-ray quarters, central store for materials; Repair of the old building and a new children's ward. Also needed is approval to expand the hospital to 250 beds and acquire more lands as well as larger operating theatres and forging a stronger link between the hospital and community.en
