Description: "First Party for Children in Hospital" describes the arrival of Santa Claus at Gosford District Hospital on a hospital trolley disguised as a sleigh. The Christmas Party was held in the children's ward for the first time. The ward had been 'gaily decorated' and around 30 patients attended from all over the hospital. Upon his arrival, Santa chatted to each child and distributed gifts.
