Description: "$1400 for Hospital" describes the presentation of a cheque to Mr Neville Boyce (Secretary of Gosford District Hospital) by President of Gosford District Hospital Auxiliary, Mrs M. Wicks. Appointments for other officers of the Auxiliary were as follows: Mrs M. Anderson (secretary) and Mrs V. Kirkby (Treasurer); Vice-presidents, Misses C. Fry and I. Hodson and Mesdames E. Mattocks and M. Miller; purchasing officer, Mrs J. Templeton; honorary auditor, Mr. N. Boyce; publicity officer, Miss I. Hudson. The new position of assistant secretary was filled by Mrs. G. Edmondson and Mrs. E. 0. Mortimer consented to lend her patronage to the auxiliary.
