Description: "Ward Block Nears Completion" details the near completion of the new ward block at Gosford DIstrict Hospital. The two new immense boilers have been delivered as well as laundry equipment. Woodwork teachers from the Gosford Technical College, Mr K Groves and Mr R Ison, brought 20 of their students to inspect the site. The Hospitals Commission has granted a subsidy of ₤8256 per annum to cover extra nursing trainees. " The 'Pink Lady Auxiliary' will begin at Gosford District Hospital as the volunteers help patients, in particular the children. The annual conference of the Hopsitals Association of NSW will have Mr H. Craft and Mr R. Tyacke will be Gosford Hospital delegates. Gosford Chapter of OES has donated ₤17/15/ for hospital funds.
