Vaughan (deputy chairman), Rev. Ian Davidson (chaplain), Mr Neville Byrnes (treasurer), Mr Neville Boyce, Matron I. Inskip, Deputy Matron Sister M. Lowndes and Mr E. H. Humphries (MLA). Addressed was the idea for Gosford Hospital to become a 250 bed base hospital and praised the centralised laundry services. .Matron lnksip said last year Gosford District Hospital recorded 713 births and for the corresponding period in 1961-65 the total was 722.Gosford Hospital had 25 honorary doctors, 10 visiting consultants and three specialists waiting on the extensions to be completed.
