Authors: Gosford Star
Issue Date: 29-Aug-1973
Abstract: Article regarding to Gosford District Hospital in the Gosford Star Newspaper, 29th August 1973. "Hospital Situation is Still Critical". No Image.
Description: "Hospital Situation is Still Critical" details the promise of $10 million for Gosford Hospital for the goal of 600 beds. This may be a long way off though. Gosford currently has 200 beds, 34 at Woy Woy, 16 at Long Jetty and a proposed 70 at Wyoming Hospital (currently Wingello Nursing Home). This amounts to 320 beds which far below what is needed on the growing Central Coast.
