The hospital has now 130 beds as well as a pathology clinic and blood bank. A description of the accommodation in the ward block is given. The Entrance-Long Jetty District Community Hospital holds 14 beds and has a permanent staff of 12, run by Matron M. Simpson. Building approval of a new maternity wing has been given.
