Dr Thompson spoke of the hospital as making 'healthy progress' and made points about the necessity of a pathology department as well as other points. Mr Reg Eddy thanked the speaker. A mark of respect was given for the late Mr Harry Craft by Board Chairman, R. M. Vaughan. "1000 Pints of Blood" details the Gosford District Hospital receiving its 1000th pint of blood since opening. Sister Day, remarked on the 1000 plus donors that the bank has and hopes to gain around 2000. Gosford Hospital is the first to send country blood to the city.
