Description: "District Nurses' Big Task" details the annual meeting and election of officers of the Woy Woy Area District Nursing Service Association where Mr. Boyce revealed the seven district nurses employed from the Gosford District Hospital will make at least 34,000 home visits this year. The annual election of officers resulted as follows: President, Mrs. Gloria Ferguson, vice-presidents, Mrs. Dot Anderson and Mrs. Lydia Whetton, secretary, Miss G. Hall, treasurer Mrs. D. Gerard, social committee chairman, Mrs. Glad Miles and publicity officer Mrs. K. Geddes. Matron Inskip agreed to act as patron of the association again this year. In her treasurer's report, Mrs. D. Gerard revealed the Association's present bank balance stood at $2,164 and functions over the year had brought in $593.63 for the nursing service.
