The driving force for establishing the Pink Ladies was Mrs Muriel Westerweller, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Gosford Hospital. The C.E.O of Hornsby Hospital provided encouragement and assistance with Gosford Hospital Senior Executive fully supporting the concept. The inaugural meeting was held at Gosford Hospital on 28th January 1969.en
