The group had sent a letter to Federal Minister for Health, Mr Ralph Hunt about rumours of Woy Woy Hospital being closed. The group was also supporting the South Woy Woy Progress Association's petition to the State Minister for Health, Mr Kevin Stewart, calling for a nursing home to be built within the grounds of Woy Woy Hospital. As well as protesting at the lack of full-time operational casualty section at the hospital.en
