Description: "High Distinction in Nursing Exams" details the 1979 nursing final examinations at Gosford District Hospital. Sister Susan Peir gained a High Distinction and four nurses gained Distinctions including, G. Bartels, L. Blade, G. Brown and R. Madden. Other prizewinners included Robyn Somerville, Mark Kearin, Jean Bradbury, Margaret Bell, and Anne Humphrey. Sister Cheryl Wright received the Midwifery prize for the highest aggerate mark. The awards were presented by Director of Nursing Miss Marie Lowndes.
