Description: "Hospital Chalks Up a First for State" details a new inter-communications system presented to the Entrance-Long Jetty Hospital. The system was the first of its kind in a New South Wales hospital and allowed members of the hospital staff to keep communication during a blackout. The system was purchased by the hospital auxiliary, President of the Entrance-Long Jetty Hospital, Mrs Margaret Morgan said her auxiliary had received tremendous community support in its fundraising efforts.
