Description: "Auxiliary's Magnificent Work" details the fundraising done by Ettalong Auxiliary of Gosford District Hospital in raising $756 to buy a portable anaethesist machine for the hospital. The 20 ladies did this in only a few short months and handed it over to Cr. Vaughan (Chairman of the Board). Medical Superintendent, Dr I. Walters, explained that the machine was invaluable to the hospital and would be use in the maternity ward. Mr Boyce (Executive Officer) and Matron Inskip, also present, were also high in their praises for the Auxiliary after only just having accepted a humidicrib from the Auxiliary a few months earlier.
