Description: "Rotarian Opens New Kiosk" details the opening of the new kiosk at Gosford District Hospital. Built by Gosford Rotary Club and funds raised by hospital auxiliaries, the kiosk cost $10,000. Mr Davis and Chairman R.M. Vaughan arrived late having attended a funeral. Mr Neville Byrnes, Hospital Treasurer, said the kiosk was something the hospital had been looking forward to for years. Also announcing that the manageress of the kiosk would be Mrs Lansdowne and it be manned by 70 voluntary workers from the auxiliary. Mr Bill Davis, president of Gosford Rotary Club, said it was one of the best community projects they had done for many years.Tribute was paid to the volunteers who helped including Mr Bill Pluim and the Mt. Penang Training School.
